Captured in a quilt. I remember when I made my first memory quilt…in fact it is one of the reasons I tried so hard with quilting…I remember wanting to give up and just forget it because I couldn’t sew a straight line…but I wanted to make some memory quilts so I stuck with it…who would’ve thought that it would turn into my job? Anyway Wayne and Gabrielle made this quilt featuring their grandson (who is such a cutie!) and preserved some precious memories on a quilt. LOVE!IMG_4627 IMG_4628

I added feather wreaths in the blue areas and swirls in all the surrounding areas..of course leaving the family photo alone.  I love the finish! Beautiful quilt!

Thanks W&G It’s a pleasure working with you again!IMG_4629 IMG_4630
