Vintage Dresdens

This was sent tome by a non quilter. She found this top at an estate sale for around 15$. Isn’t that the way it goes? LOL

So she wanted it finished. I was so happy to work on this because it is really so beautiful and these types of finds are amazing.

I quilted feathers, feather wreaths and swirls.

I had to find someone to bind/face the quilt. I can’t do it because I am terrible at binding ( I rarely do my own) much less this type of quilt. So I asked a friend of mine to do it…and she did a wonderful job.

I am so happy with this finish and so is the owner. I always feel it is so much better to finish these old quilt tops and  be able to use them as the original make intended.
