Scrappy Trade from Brianna

Well Brianna came over after I recieved my last haul of scrappy quilts from Annette …& she wanted to get in on this game..it’s such a GREAT idea!

Brianna is half an owner of this shop here….her and her mom, Cindi own it. You know my most favorite quilt shop in the world??

Brianna has been long arm  quilting since she was 6 …maybe 8 . She is a fabulous quilter. So I know you all won’t be dissapointed in this trade for a few reasons…

Her quilting is fabulous but also…she didn’t really send me scraps…these are quilt kits….she is really trying to show me up! LOL Look at what she handed me:

There is two bags of batik scraps…but there are also FQ’s and some yardage included.

But most all of these are FQ’s or quilt kits…without patterns. So the good news it you get a fresh project to make..nice yardage and  not alot of sorting and  oh & YUMMY fabrics! There is one kit that I want! Guess which one?

This is a 3 sisters line, I think?

Someone started needle turn applique and didn’t finish….the rest is FQ’s.

The bad news is that since this is all nice yardage..I would prefer that only people I have worked with {before} be the ones to get these bundles {only because I don’t want to mail out quilt kits never to see them again..sorry}

this comes with yardage and a panel..I think it’s a line by Georgia Bonesteel..but I didn’t look. {working from memory..so I could be wrong}

Leave a comment and I will let you all know where I am sending them out….I am not sure how I will divide them..probably depends on the amount of people that comment.

So same rules as always:

1. make a quilt top ..any size, any pattern using her fabrics…..send it back with all scraps and she will quilt a quilt for you same size you made for her.

2. Brianna is a full time college student at the Seattle Art institute…Yahoo!  So please no strict deadlines ..we aren’t giving them to you..so please have the same consideration.  She will have finals in December..so if you need your quilt quilted by Christmas you will need to have it to her by October. Thanks so much!

This is lovely isn’t it? Soft and pretty.

There are a few more bags..I just didn’t take pictures.

Thanks a bunch!

    OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH….I want in …you know I do…just to get to work with some good fabric will be a pleasure to me. Count me in please…Not to mention I will need some hand work (been working on Christmas Villiage some just have to take in spells with those real small pieces) I will have every tues and fri in Augusta for 6 to 8 hours each day, so some needle turn would be a great relief for me. Blessings T

    I would love to get in on either her kits or your scraps (i perfer scraps) Say enough for a twin size. I have a twin boy quilt needing quilted. I will gladly make up a couple of tops in exchange. I would even pay postage if you like.

    Piecing only I have never appliqué d anything.
