Scrappy Strips & Batiks

I made a quilt for my nephew last Christmas and I had all of these leftover strips and a few 10 inch squares left.  So I quickly just took all of the scraps for that and put them together improve style to create a nice lap or baby quilt.

I wanted to try out a fun & funky computer design….they are bubbles filled with lines and pebbles. It takes a bit sometimes to learn how to space these properly and get everything to line up properly. There are a few patterns that I have trouble with sometimes.

I took some scraps of flannel from my stash and made a pieced back…to make it extra cozy.

It finished up nicely.

Glad I was able to turn these scraps into something cozy.
