I’m not Charisma, but I’ll be playing her on tonights episode of “As Charisma’s World Turns”.  Actually, she doesnt have internet access and needs someone to update her blog thing so people don’t think she is blowing them off.  I’m sure she could have found someone more serious and mature than me to do this for her…but I, Rob, her illustrious arm candy, am here to save the day.

In all seriousness, she went to her Grandma K’s house today…everyone calls her “K” because she is from Iceland and NO ONE can pronounce her name unless you have one of those crooked tongues you get when you are born in another country.  I have never actually heard it pronounced, but I assume it starts with a “K” sound.  After they got GK to the hospital and prepped for surgery the surgeon changed his mind and said that she actually needs a quadrupal bypass…and it will be tomarrow morning.  Two of GK’s daughters are flying in from Florida and Minnesota in the morning as well.  So that’s good.  Apparently, she was told that she’s going to have to be on some kind of “good for your heart” diet.  After the doctor left she told Charisma that she’s getting a bacon burger as soon as she’s outta there.  I may have to demand that we visit her more if thats her idea of a diet.  I mean I like to stay healthy as much as the next guy…but if I don’s get my twinkies and beefstick breakfast I would go mad.

So in true Charisma fashion, I do truely ask for prayers and that the good Lord guides the surgeons hands and a speedy recovery.  I know this is a stressful time for GK and all the people that love her and I am glad that Charisma has found so many wonderful people to share in each others lives.  She really does count you all as blessings.

Sorry about the weepy stuff at the end there…I try not to do that.
