Well my site was down for a while. I am so thankful that I have an IT guy because honestly, I am technology challenged and I wouldn’t have any idea how to fix any of these issues. I know if it took him several days to figure it all out that I would have been sunk.

I am not sure why these things have to happen. But I am just thankful that this time that I wasn’t hacked by jerks that load your site with dirty stuff….like last time.

So now that we are all back and everything is right in Charisma’s Corner…..we can get back to business. Tomorrow all of my American Country– Month 1 block instructions will go out….YAY! You can sign up on my Etsy Site if you’d like to join along. This is my ETSY Shop.

It’s 15$ for the whole year. It’s a 10 month program. Mostly foundation pieced. It’s great for scrap quilts.  The monthly blocks will come out by the 5th of each month.

I also released a video of my Michael Miller Ambassador box, HERE.

I am really excited to start working on my projects for Michael Miller.

There are a few things we are doing this year that I will be writing more about. But all of us Ambassadors are doing a Batik Block of the Month. So that will be fun to follow along.

I already have all of my Michael Miller projects scheduled through March and I am REALLY excited to get started and share these projects. I think some of them might be some of my best works yet….:)

Also I am teaching 3 …YES 3!! classes at Sew Expo in Puyallup, WA. Sew Expo runs from Feb 27- March 1st.  You can visit the site here.

I am teaching  “3 needle classes” and they are all embroidery classes. I also have a booth in the show. So I will be there for the whole event. I have never been. But I am really excited to go and see everything. It’s a HUGE show.  1 of my classes is for Known. That is my wool Penny tree. The other 2 will be penny notes. So we will be making a little sampler to put on a journal cover.

Rob has been on vacation for most of this week. So we have been cutting kits and printing patterns to prepare for the show. We actually have 2 more shows in March after that one as well. So I am trying to get as prepared as I can. Since I will be busy with shows during that month I want to get my ducks in a row because I will be longarming in between. So I wont have a bunch of free time for anything else. So I am working ahead a little bit for my busy March.

Other than that…when it rains it pours, right? We are welcoming the new year with some woes. LOL. My suburban has been making some funny noises. So we decided to take it in and get everything checked out. I don’t want it breaking down when we have shows, are out of town ect. So we found out it needs a ton of work and of course it’s not cheap.

Then I took in my dog because she has been having some issues….and that’s also not going to be cheap. *sigh* there is nothing you can do about these things except go with the flow and do the best you can. I am just glad we caught everything before something very terrible happened. I am also happy that we have a savings. For just such things. So there is always a silver lining.

I will do anything to make sure my dog gets better. We will figure it all out and see what is going on. She has another appointment on Tuesday. We will get more answers and see what the best course of action will be.

2019 was a rough year for me. I got back into some old detrimental habits of not taking care of myself. I have been working A LOT of hours and not taking time to care for myself like I should. I have gained weight. I have not been tracking my food, my weight or anything. But I can’t fit into my clothes and I see it in photos. I also feel it. So I am getting back on the low carb train and I started training today. I am going to start working towards a 5K and getting back into the grind. Walking the dogs has not been enough. Plus we have to take breaks with walking them regularly because several of my dogs have been having health issues and they can’t walk. Grace can only walk a little bit. Red tore his ACL so we have been having to make him rest. Now Kali is struggling and she is worse off than Gracie…which is terrible. So the only one who can walk a fair amount of distance is Elvis. LOL! He needs it too! We will get it all sorted out. But I am going to get back into the routine of taking care of myself. I deserve to go walking-jogging for a bit each day. I deserve to take time for myself. There is no reason I can’t do these things. I know that I will struggle with my weight my whole life. I have always known that. But I have to have a limit of which I will not let myself pass. I am there.

So that is all for now. I will catch up more. I have a few pictures to share. I have posted a few new patterns recently. I will share those as well.

I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
