Elaine’s Star

Elaine sent this quilt to me. She is going to put in in her local quilt show.

She hand peiced every single HST ..all of her applique was done by hand as well. It’s simply ……AMAZING!

She has been holding on to several quilt tops thinking she would hand quilt them ….now 20 years later ( i think that is how old she said some of them were) she thinks it’s more important to get them finished even if it is by machine…:)

I love hand quilting or machine quilting so either way I am not a die hard either way..in fact I am paying someone to hand quilt a vintage GFG for me right now. But I can say I love the mix of the two ..don’t you?
