Circle of Geese set in the Cookbook

So I have been slacking on the blog front and I have so many of my own finished quilts to post….I finished them before the end of the year…I really truly did! But I have not been posting regularly…haha! So here’s another.

I had a stack of blocks that Laurie made me in a trade years ago……ooops! I put the last of them in 2 quilt tops and this is one of them. I used a layout from The Quilt Block Cook book. This layout just really appealed to me ( cause The other one I really loved I already used and just haven’t quilted that quilt as of yet)

So this quilt actually came together pretty quickly and I love the simplicity of it.

As you can see I chose a different design for each color way but I quilted all of the blocks the same. I also quilted pearls in the sashings to keep some unity.

Love the modern finish and the colors just seem fresh to me.
