Berne’s Quilts

Berne is a very prolific embroiderer–embroiderist? What is the correct term? I am not sure.

However every few month she sends a fabulous quilt that has a ton of embroidery. And she is teaching her granddaughter how to quilt. So they made this lovely sampler.

  I quilted feathers, wreaths, leaves and each individual block got its own treatment.

Unfortunately, this quilt didn’t photograph well. It is so beautiful.

This is a crabapple hill pattern. There is beading and beautiful stitching.

I love everything about these quilts. Berne always does a great job.
