A Lovely Lonestar Variation

Hi All,

Susan sent this topper to me for quilting..she and I have worked together before. She always makes lovely projects. Her piecing is fabulous! She also has a knack for chooing really lovely fabrics.

This is no exception. It’s really beautiful. I loved the stars tucked in between those arcs that frame it all in…so I wanted to really bring that out. I outlined those arcs..then filled in the background behind the star with muscle shells. …Then I added feathers, continuous curves and feathered fans….oh it will be hard to send this back home..it’s so pretty!
