Can we say “DING-DING-DING!” We have a winner! LOL

I was so excited about this last night and I just knew I could get it done before midnight…I pinned it on at 8:30…finished, blogged and was in bed at midnight. YAY!

I used two layers of batting…..Warm&Natural and Polydown.

I wanted to make those appliques pop out so I used the new technique I have learned this new week….I think they are called clam shells?? IDK?…I think they look like flower petals.  I had read somewhere that you are not supposed to echo some of those designs more than three times…but I actually like them the bigger they get…so who cares about rules? I have decided I need to trust my own eye. That could just be true for some designs….but these flower petals…look great with lots of layers in my own opinion.

The rest are just leaves, swirlies, flowery feathers..you know all my favorites! Now Beth ( do any of you feel sorry for Beth lately? all her binding work.ha!) will be getting this to bind and I will find a comfy place to share this beautiful treasure! Thanks again T!

Holy cow, I can’t believe you did that SO fast.

The technique in the middle I have seen it called mussel shells and Diane Gaudynski calls them headbands.
