Laura has been with me since the beginning. She is always stretching me out of my comfort zone. I always love all of her projects. I think we collect the same fabrics and patterns. But she gets more completed than I do. :)

Anyway she sent these 3 and I just LOVE each and every one of them.

The first one I completed was “Modern Glam” I think this may be a pattern by Elizabeth Hartman. ( not the name she gave it….I can’t remember what Laura said..sorry.) If it isn’t her pattern I know that Laura said she completed the back the way she did because she was inspired by Elizabeth Hartman.   EH has a blog here .IMG_4689 IMG_4691 IMG_4692

Laura had mentioned that she thought her blocks resembled Christmas Trees…..so I quilted trunks on the bottom of each row of blocks. :)IMG_4667IMG_4690

Don’t you love the back?

I quilted Pebbles, pimentos ( Circles within circles) , swirls. In between each tree I quilted back and forth lines.

This second quilt is a Kaffe sampler. Laura fussy cut each snowball fabric …and every piece is a Kaffe print….I think I could make one of these ..well two. One with Amy Fabs and one with Kaffe fabs. I love this idea. I have so much old Amy that I have been collecting….it’s really a great away to showcase those lovely fabs. IMG_4701 IMG_4700 IMG_4699

Each block has 9 snowballs. In each set of 9 snowballs I quilted a  flower, but each set of 9 has a specific flower. *LOVE*IMG_4698 IMG_4697 IMG_4696IMG_4694

Here’s the back: IMG_4681

The third quilt is called “Paperweight” if you google it as a quilt pattern you can find it. I quilted spider webs in the black stars…..and then each circle got it’s own treatment. IMG_4683 IMG_4684IMG_4685 IMG_4686 IMG_4687

Here’s the back:

Love these quilts! It will be painful to send them back…they would all look so good in my collection…nobody would ever know? Would they?

Maybe Laura?

Thanks Laura….Always a pleasure!
