Modern By The Yard E-Zine and Pinovation

Hi Everybody!

I wanted to share this great E-Magazine. It’s a free magazine put out by Benartex fabrics. They focus on their modern lines of fabric. It is released monthly. There are free projects and a lot of inspiration.

You can also find all the previous months. I spent a night going through the previous magazines after i found out about this E-zine. So cool!

What is even more fabulous is that they asked me to contribute to this month. YAHOO!!!

They wanted a few designer to submit a new-modern-updated- Pinwheel block. How would we change it and update it. they asked me to mock it up in one of their new modern fabric lines. I chose a new line called Fruit Punch…so pretty!

This is my block:

I call it Pinovation. I love this so much! I am going to make a pattern using this block.

So I mocked up a design:

Isn’t that great?!

I gotta get some fabrics and as soon as I do …A new pattern will be born.
