Memories of Mother

Pam sent me this quilt. The fabric was very special to her …it came from her Mother’s stash.. sadly her mother has passed. So this is a special momento for her. I get to be a small part of that …which is always so special for me.

I had to rip out a few times. I was trying to quilt it…but not take away from the fabric. So many of my ideas actually competed with the fabric designs…so I stuck to good all over type of designs to make them compliment what was already happening..all the singing birds…rich elegand colors….and the back is a comfy cozy flannel. Can’t go wrong with that.
