Hawaiian Shirts

This is a quilt made by Dawnette.

She had a really good idea to use Hawaiian shirts from a vacation she went on….to make a memory quilt. Isn’t that a great way to keep that memory close to you..you get to snuggle it and look at it and remember a great time in your life?

There are so many varieties of HW shirts…so many colors and styles..it would be difficult to choose. But she did a great job!

She used the Craftsy free BOM for 2012 and made this lovely sampler. She wanted an all-over design and we decided on ferns….it just goes with the shirt so well…hard not to see it with ferns.  She did a beautiful job with her sewing.
