A few small ones..one for me and one for T

Well you all may be familiar with a little trade I do here at Charisma’s Corner? Hmmm?

Well this little wallhanging/tabletopper was just screaming for me to quilt her. Linda made this for me from my scraps…there were leftover charms froma  quilt I made for my DBIL.  he likes teh quilt so much he is waiting for me to become famous so he can sell it. What a goober! He will be waiting a long time….and if he sells it..he’s not getting another! The charm is a Kansas troubles line…we all love Kansas troubles right? I love KT because no matter when you buy their lines..you could buy a line from 10 years ago or get the new line in fall they will all coordinate because they always use the same color pallette.  They may not be the same theme…but the same colors..warm & cozy.

So this is one of the two that Linda sent me….The other one is little houses… I need a bit of time to quilt that because I am going to personalize each house….But I knew I could get this on and off the frame in a jiff…and I am just so pleased with the finished product…..The sun over the flowers..and the border treatment…viola!

Teresa and I are also into trading….she does needle turn applique for me…and I quilt for her….I think I will be wuilting for her forever..because I gave her a really detailed applique project..she has to take breaks from that…so I gave her another more simple project..LOL poor gal…she will give up on me.

She made this CUTE! tabletopper. The fabric is from Connecting threads , Maybe it was a kit? I am not sure….but I am once again in LOVE! Continuous curves and feathers..great combo! The bright colors always strike my fancy as well. I will have anotehr one for her finished today as well…it’s not a typical T quilt….it’s for her DH…..and it’s funny! LOL
