Generations of Quilting

Linda brought this quilt to me. Her mother had started this quilt has since passed.

Her mother had traced the embroideries and completed three of them. So Linda finished the rest of the embroideries by hand. Than she added machine embroidery to label each one with who had completed them. She made this for her own grandchildren…so they are labeled with Grandma and Great grandma. 

Then she made a label in the front corner with names and info. I love these types of quilts. They already have so much meaning and they will be cherished forever ( hopefully)
