I quilted this for a local customer. She is pretty prolific ( at least until her garden needs tending) and she does beautiful needle turn applique work. I love her philosophy…she says she doesn’t make “throw away” quilts. Every quilt she makes is special…or she wouldn’t waste her time. She is a regular customer at my LQS and when I used to work there …she would come in to find that perfect quarter yard cut she needed for her projects..even though she lives 20 minutes from the shop. So I know she puts effort and work into every project she makes.  IMG_4605 IMG_4604 IMG_4603 IMG_4602

SO I made the cut to be her quilter? YAHOO! LOL

So I quilted an allover feather in the log cabins..but her pieced and appliqued border needed a special treatment. So I will let those photos tell the story..but I just want to say I love it! and I did quilt over her appliques with her permission. IMG_4601 IMG_4600

Isn’t it fun? IMG_4609 IMG_4608 IMG_4607 IMG_4606

I forgot to get a picture of the back…it was pieced as well.  Oh Well Thanks Noni! It’s always a treat to work with you. BLessings!
