I love the  30’s birds…I think they are one fabric that she cut and appliqued on ( that’s called Broderie Perse…right?) Anyway so adorable! The setting is really cute and of course all the whimsy, comfortable 30’s fabrics. IMG_5481 IMG_5482 IMG_5483 IMG_5484

I echoed the birds, used continuous curves, loops and framed it all in with a feather.IMG_5472

The second project is redwork…and I didn’t notice until I pinned it on that the center is actually one piece of printed cloth that she had embroidered. Genius! Right? So I outlined sashing and corner stones to reinforce the design….and quilted around the embroidered designs. It’s so beautiful. Perfect embroidery as well!IMG_5473 IMG_5474 IMG_5475 IMG_5476

Thanks Wanda! It’s a pleasure to work with you! IMG_5477
