Odessa WA Quilt Show April 28-29th 2023

Hi Everybody!

I just wanted to let you all know that I am the featured quilter at the Odessa WA quilt show at the end of April.

I am excited to be a part of this show because Odessa holds a special place in my heart.

It is a small town farming community with a great Quilt Shop. (click HERE) 

There is a great creek called Crab Creek in that county (and surrounding counties) that is known for the crayfish and the fish they feed off of them. I lived in central WA for 20 years and we learn all of the ins and outs of how the landscape changed once FDR built Grand Coulee Dam and Crab creek is one of them. It’s very interesting.

Anyway, when I first started designing and teaching the Odessa quilt guild brought me in for a trunk show and a teaching gig. They have in fact brought me in a few times and they are always warm and welcoming. They are kind and supportive and they took a chance on me when I was nobody. I feel my heart swell when I think of them.

So when they asked me to be the featured quilter this year …I said of course!

I will say that I have a ton of stuff going on and it happened to be a weekend that I was “free” but I have a special visitor coming to hang out at my house that week.

I am going to bring this CELEBRITY QUILTER with me to the show. I am going to share my booth and my featured quilter space with this person.

I was planning on keeping it a secret…..but we decided to tell everyone.

Any guesses?
