Mary’s Log Cabins

Mary is so sweet! ( I think we are kindred spirits)  We have worked together a few times now… she sent me these two batik style log cabins.

I quilted ferny feathers in the light parts and Charisma curls in the darker paths…. I love log cabins…but I especially love any quilt pattern that has paths or linner areas that I can accent and bring out..I noticed that early on in my quilty career…and I think many people like that as well as I get asked to do that pretty regularly now..be it bargello, log cabins, or anything else. It just make sit “pop” out mre..& our eyes like it…at least mine do!
