Irish Chain

Nancy sent me this beautiful Irish Chain. Irish chain quilts can be made using any fabric and they are always beautiful….just a very classic design made in several variations and they are always nice to work on because they quilt up beautifully.

Nancy did a great job….I wish I could have gotten better pictures. Our town was smothered in smoke for more than 6 weeks …and getting pictures has been difficult. I also didn’t want the quilts out too long or they would smell like the smoke.

I quilted Feather wreaths in each of the open spaces and quilted continuous curves in the chain. I framed it all in with a feather.
