Elephant Abstractions

Sharon made this elephant. It’s  a pattern called Elephant Abstractions by Violet Craft.

I needed to keep the quilting simple. Sharon is very prolific and she sells many of her quilts …so I tend to quilt for her in batches. I love that! all of her quilts are different and she uses tons of techniques…so there is always fun things to quilt.

I tried to add a few details to the elephant and also added ferns in the background to add to the safari type feel.

I think she came together beautifully.
