Dianne’s Blue Beauty
Dianne was part of the scrappy trade last year…she worked with a bunch of bias strips that were given to me and assorted fabrics and 9 patches I had made YEARS ago from yucky fabs. Had I known how difficult those bias strips were ..I wouldn’t have sent them to anyone ( sorry D!) ….I was unaware..however she did produce some fabulous quilts. One I gave to a friend who has surgery and needed a pick me up, one was donated to a friend to raffle off to go on a mission trip …and the last little one was a practice/sacrificial quilt Preston quilted…to see if he had the gift of stippling…which he does not. So it will be used as a tabletopper here at home..cause we do use lots of tabletoppers around here.
This is why I love the scrappy trade deal…I like to have lots of practice quilts and donation quilts. I am also donating one to my Church youth group so they can earn funds for a Christian Concert…and the Senior PTA is needing items to raffle ..so they can earn funds for the Senior all-nighter…So I will also be donating to them. It’s nice that so many hands are involved ..and we all benefit from one another.
Anyway this is Dianne’s first little blue beauty…and I quilted it with an all over feather design….perfectly suited!
I hope she likes it..she is so nice to work with! Thanks D!
You will discover definitely loads of details like that to take into consideration. That’s a terrific point to bring up. I provide the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly one can find questions like the 1 you bring up exactly where by far the most crucial thing might be working in honest fantastic faith. I don?t know if finest practices have emerged about things like that, but I’m certain that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls really feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
