Beautiful Red Work

I was so excited to work on this quilt. I have this set of patterns and I really love them. They are by Kathy Schmidt. She always has nice patterns. This was completed by a local quilter and she brought it to me for quilting. It was our first time working together and I felt so honored that she trusted me.

I quilted leaves in the sashings. I did individual block work and tried to math the theme of each of the blocks. I framed it all in with a feather.

It finished up so beautifully! I wish I had time to start stitching mine. I have them traced….but they are sitting in a pouch waiting.
