Applique Queen
I know a few applique queens. Not just fusible applique..needle turn applique. It’s amazing to me. I have a 12 year old UFO….if i started needle turn applique…it would be a 20 year old UFO…probably more.
Pat is clearly a needle turn applique lover…and embroidery. All of these projects are beautiful and she told me she is working on a few more.
I loved every one of these projects…and she loves the quilting. I got the names of the patterns and company so if any of you are interested you could find them…
The first one is Farmer’s Market by Crow river quilting.
I quilted several designs to create texture and break up the patterns. Headbands, pebbling, pumpkins, loopies, echoeing. Beautiful hand work!
The next one is A sewing notions quilt, Called Thread, Thread every where by Crow River Quilting…I quilted one for Pat earlier this year..but I changed it up a bit and put different designs in all the background areas. Flowers leaves and loopies in the rest.
The last one is Sugar and Spice bu Bunny Hill designs.
I changed up all the background designs and framed it all in with a feather. A little bit of everything.
Great Projects! Beautiful quilts! Beautiful construction. Thanks Pat!
These are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the patterns with us. Love your blog!
