Annette’s Scrappy
Well you all have heard about Annette..the amazing scrapper ( well one of them!)..LOL!
This quilt is made using register reciept tape..she made a coupel for me as well..she takes all those tiny pieces of material ( crumbs) and sews them to the register tape..and then trims them to the size of the paper..pretty genious ..right? Then you have thee scrappy strips that you can make endless types of patterns with…I just think that is amazing!
She asked me to quilt leaves in the red areas…and of course I would
do anything she asked..LOL.
I love this idea, how fun is this, and I think the quilting is perfect! I am thinking that I should piece quilts just to send them to you to show off your quilting. I mean really plan places in my quilts to provide space for you to do your magic. Also wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about making your scraps into fun projects, in fact I have started, but my mom moved into our home at the beginning of this year, so my focus has been on caring for and loving her. She seems more settled now so perhaps soon I will have the freedom to spend more time piecing again.
