Amish with a Twist

Donna sent this quilt along with the Lonestar.

GAH! It is so stunning! Her piecing of course is spot on! The fabrics and the whole pattern are just stunning!

I had several ideas on how to quilt it….I could have kept simple designs with Cross-hatching to go with the Amish theme…or since it’s Amish with a twist we could go with the option of block work and feathers. I have to say that I love the feathers.Lots of continuous curves. I just wish the weather here would cooperate….so I could get some decent photos. But this is the best I can do….Maybe Donna will get some for us while it’s hanging in the show? *wink*
