Star Flowers

I have no idea what the real name to this quilt is ( sorry) I just make them up as I go. :)

Jane sent this…it’s always a funny thing to quilt for other long-armers…I send mine out sometimes as well. But the pressure used to get to me in the beginning…now I understand. Jan owns her own long arm business and sent this to me for custom long arm work. I am flattered. Her only request was that I wouldn’t quilt over the appliques. I always get permission if I do that because every quilter has an opinion on that..and I would never want to disappoint if I can help it. 

So I did lots of fill in work with the interlocking swirl design..I just feel like it softens the edges a little and makes all the right things pop out. I also used lots of continuous curves. It’s a beautiful quilt..I love the colors and the beautiful applique…Great Job! Jan! IT’s a pleasure working with you. 

As you can see ..our weather isn’t really sunny lately..I can’t seem to get decent lighting..but I think there is enough to get an idea.
