I met Judy at a quilt show in Portland. She is so sweet. She had been a blog follower and came to my booth just to meet me….:)

We shared…we started communicating via emails…she is a mother and always has a good word of wisdom..God always plants people in your life for a purpose. I love that.

She sent me two quilts…..One for her grandson. She made it all from flannels…soft cozy and warm. I quilted random-linked boxes. The effect is great.

This second one is my favorite. It has embroidery, applique and piecing. This quilt is right up my ally….Her only request was that I quilt “Charisma Curls” somewhere…I quilted them in the outer border.. I also quilted leaves, loops, echo, swirls and back & forth lines. Creating texture and breaking up elements.

I asked for the info on this quilt pattern it is by Jenny Pitman -“Life’s Blessings” They come in a group of 11 patterns. She got them in a kit with the fabrics….but it is probably usually run as a BOM.

Beautiful quilting, Charisma. By the way, did you see my reply to your email the other day?
