Modern Stripes

Laura sent me this quilt…and even though she made this for her son and his wife…..it’s not her usual “style” which I happen to love…I also love this. The problem with me is that I like to many styles…I guess it’s a good reson I am in this profession. I can see lots of things as beautiful! This is flourishy but in a modern way…and she mixed them all very well.

She also wanted that mix with the quilting. Cross hatching in all the one inch sashing strips & swirls in the bigger strips. It quilted up beautifully……I am in love with it per usual with Laura’s projects. I even recognize some of these fabrics….art gallery.

Sad to send this home..but I know it will be beautiful!
