This is one of my new patterns. I am working on a whole slew of patterns and getting the samples made. So I can be prepped for the Summer releases and a few new lines that are coming out. WHEW! It’s a lot of work. During covid I have either had no work or a ton of work. There hasn’t been a steady stream of work. Currently, I am in the heavy workload mode.

But I just want to share these as I go along. I am waiting for a few more magazines to be released because I have some more designs coming out soon. So Until then….I will be sharing some of the patterns I am releasing in my ETSY shop: HERE.

I am hoping to one day move to the trees and mountains. Rob and I are always looking and dreaming. Although, our dreams are a little different. I think if it were up to him we would be living in some shack in the middle of a forest. But he is too lazy to go out and hunt for food. So I would probably be expected to do everything ( per usual) and then life would be great for him. I however would just like a nice little house an be in the forest if it’s close enough to town so I can go grocery shopping, get internet service and have a great big studio. So we will have to meet somewhere in the middle.

We will either wait until we pay off our house ( which will most likely be next year) or if Rob finds a job in the area that we would like to move. Whichever comes first will determine what we do. So until then…..work -work-work. And try to avoid the hot summer sun by hibernating in the house with the air conditioner turned onto the morgue setting…..and wait. LOL.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

blessings

I love that quilt! Beautiful. I lived in a forest like you described. We lived there for 40 years during the global warming. Paradise, California. On Nov 8 2018 our whole town burned to the ground, 14,000 homes lost totally. I loved living there. It was the Sierras. In the valley that was close by was everything you could want. I lost everything in my sewing room including my 10 sewing machines. Plus some quilts LAQed by you! Too old to rebuild, I now live in Georgia.
Love to you and your family Charisma. How is your son the long armer doing?

Hi Martha, I am so sorry about your loss. That’s devastating. My son is working with my husband. learning that when you make poor choices that life isn’t all that great. LOL Hoping he learns some lessons and starts making better choices for himself. Parenting adults is hard.
