Freedom Quilt Tutorial With Rob Appell
So as you all know I am a brand Ambassador for Michael Miller Fabrics.
Rob Appell and I met last month when he did a tutorial on my Destination Quilt and he also interviewed me for his show, Making it Fun. I will post those links since I think, I haven’t shared them here yet.
Rob is such a nice genuine guy. I felt like we had been longtime friends. So it was very easy to be interviewed and talk to him.
But he posted this tutorial today and Freedom is a quilt that I design YEARS ago before I was an actual “Designer.”
After I took the leap to “pattern designer” I wanted to release this pattern into the world because it’s so versatile. I used a reproduction civil war fat quarter bundle in my original sample. Rob used red, white and Blues in his sample. Rob’s is more organized. Susan from Michael Miller used a whole bundle of patriotic fat quarter bundle of cotton Couture Solids. Rob shows that sample in the video as well. But I also have a peak here:
Susan also did her stars in a scrappy style. I love the “freedom” in that type of quilting. (Like what I did there?)
All of my patterns are listed in my Etsy shop, Here.
I list all of my patterns as digital downloads or paper versions that I mail.
If you have time please share some love with Rob Appell and subscribe to his channel. He posts new videos very regularly and he always puts on a fun show.
