Twilight in Cool Strings
Hello Lovelies,
It’s a beautiful fall day and I am here to share another quilt, line of fabric and pattern.
As a designer we are a part of a community of other designers and we like to help one another when we have patterns, fabrics and quilty things to share. I work with Island Batik Fabrics pretty regularly and they make beautiful lines of Batiks. When Claudia Porter of Claudia Creates put out a call for a blog hop I wanted to join in. She has a really popular YouTube Channel, HERE.
She has this beautiful line of batiks with Island Batik called Twilight.
I thought the line was pretty with the digital swatches. But when I saw it in person I realized that the digital images didn’t do this line any justice at all. It’s beautiful, warm , rich and perfect for fall.
I decided to use this line for my Banana Split pattern called Cool Strings. It’s strip roll & jelly roll friendly and it’s fast to put together.
I also made a YouTube Tutorial to show you how to make the blocks for this quilt HERE.
The rich colors included that dark navy color which I think elevates this to a really elegant line as well. It looks so great, it was so easy to photograph. As you can see. I hope you will check out my friends and again this line is called Twilight for Island Batiks.

Dear Charisma:
You’re really right, that blue makes this line go from what might be pretty to absolutely beautiful and rich! And you chose a great pattern to show it off, too. Thanks so much for sharing!
