Clarissa and Donna have been working on this project for quite awhile. It’s not Donna’s fault-> it’s all Clarissa.
Clarissa likes starting projects…just not so much finishing them. IN fact she loses interest 10 minutes after each session. Poor Donna. I thought it was just me ..so I thought Donna could teach Clarissa better….apparently it’s just Clarissa. She like that with most things except cooking. But with cooking it also depends on what she is making…she does get like that….at times. I think she did better when she was younger….but now that she is hormonal I think all reasoning is gone. seriously.
But I digress.
A few summers ago Clarissa picked out all of these fabrics…aren’t they adorable? I just love them! My pictures are blurry……I would have taken new ones but Beth already has these to bind. If I don’t get them posted I will forget and I want to post them on my project count…( sorry I am a star Chart kid with a goal at hand…it’s getting close to the end of the year and I want to see another item checked off and closer to the goal…that beats good photos-> I guess??? It’s a flaw???)
She threw in the pink and extras and I thought that was a nice touch. The patterns are from Kim Schaefer’s book called Cozy Modern Quilts. I have several of Kim’s books. I really like her style. Many of her designs can translate into any style…you just have to change the fabrics. They made 2 of each of these patterns.
I quilted these with zebra or tiger strips….however you want to interpret them. Complete fun!
I wish the backing fabric would have shown up better. They are tigers. We live in “Tiger Town”
The high school mascot is the tiger…so many places in town have a Tiger theme or Tiger in the name of the business because of “Tiger Pride” so it is only fitting. I think you can’t hate orange and live in this town because all of the kids wear bright orange & black everything because of school. 🙂 I think it could be worse. 🙂 so I just go with it.
Anyway here is another project close to my 100 project goal. I didn’t make them…but I quilted them and I own them…and I bought the fabric……Aren’t they going to be so pretty on my table? Yes…the answer is yes.
