Yes..I said it. This is a Favorite in my house. Except for Rob. Rob refuses to eat anything from the sea. so he gets leftovers or fast food on the nights that I serve this.

However, my kids LOVE Tuna casserole night. I will not say this is healthy in any way shape or form. I also will say I am not a velveeta cheese fan…except in two dishes..this being one of them. I grew up on this and my brother loved this so much ..he would request this as his birthday dinner dish as an adult….I know. Can you imagine? My brother also doesn’t like seafood but will eat tuna casserole. I also made this with my meal exchange last year and both the families that I made it for liked it as well.

1 box of macaroni

1 box   of velveeta

2 cans of cream of mushroom soup

1 can of campbells cheese soup

1 bag of frozen  Peas & Carrots ( or mixed veggies..I use whatever I have on hand)

1 big family size ( or two depending on how much you prefer) bag/packet of tuna

I boil the noodles until al dente, drain them then mix in everything except Velveeta. Slice the velveeta…get a 9×13 ( or bigger)  dish and layer the mix and the cheese bake at 350 until cheese is meted and warm and bubbly. Around 25-30 mins.

YUMMY! Comfort food…but totally not healthy in any way shape or form. ****Disclaimer****
