Well you all remember this beauty? That is the quilt that Lori Pieced for me from my scraps. Of course that is after I quilted it.

Well this is the quilt she sent to me for our trade. So we traded a pineapple blossom in a more modern style ( mine..yippppeeeeee) for her more traditional style pineapple..both equally as beautiful. Lori is an excellent piecer…and the quilt is perfect!

Lori LOVES, LOVES, LOVES feathers! So I quilted lots of feathers…and of course leaves, loops, little flowers….It’s all so beautiful..The back really shows the quilting very well..the front is all texture..which is what we love!

We used two layers of batting….to give it a bit of extra ummmf!

    Charisma,
Your quilting brought me to tears, I can’t thank-you enough for your work on this quilt. Its amazing to me that what was once a pile of scraps looking like it should be tossed , can end up looking this fabulous.
This has made my day for many to come. I am not sure who will be the recipient of this quilt will be ( I don’t keep any of the quilts I make) but I am sure it will be spoken for soon.
I so appreciate you sharing your talents.
Someone once told me its only a good deal if both are equally as happy with the out come. I will always feel like I got the best part of the deal ( our trade)
