Sunshine Flowers

I have no idea what the name of this quilt is… was made by  quilter named Betty…and she did a wonderful job. She made as a gift for someone…I can’t remember if she said it was a niece or not. But what a lovely gift. Yellow & gray is popular right now and I just love it!

The calm tones of gray with sunshine yellow….just wonderful!

I had fun quilting this because of the big setting squares..I wanted to mimic the flowers on the fabric…and WOWZA! I just love it!

Love all of the little details in the blocks. There is even flange in the borders:

IMG_1321IMG_1325I quilted lots of swirls, curls, loops, l’s and e’s.  It was fun & whimsy…..Thanks so much Betty! It was a pleasure working with you!

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

  1. Hi Charisma, thank you for sharing your talents and pictures with us. I have been following you thru pictures several years, first on the Quilting Board. You have certainly been an inspiration to me. I quilt, but only with my Project Linus group. Some day, with God’s help, I plan to get back to big quilts and possibly into ‘long arm’ quilting, and you will continue to be my inspiration for that. Love, love, love your work. Bea
