Shabby Chic Roses

Karen sent this quilt. Oh my word. It just took my breath away. I love these quilts..I honestly do. I just can’t help myself. I have most of these fabrics that she used as well….there is a couple new lines at my shop that resemble this line as well..I look at them every time I go in….but I have a whole stash of them already. I am just drawn to this look…always & forever. soft & sweet.

So I knew it needed roses, feathers and continuous curves. It finished up so lovely. Just makes me happy…so romantic & beautiful.

IMG_1890I saturated this on while editing it so maybe you could see the quilting a bit better:

IMG_1891It makes me want to get my stash of soft beauties and cut into them….( then maybe I can buy the newer lines??)

IMG_1892 IMG_1893The back you can’t see very well…but here it is:

Thanks Karen! Beautiful quilt!

Many blessings to all of you this week!

  1. Oh my, you are correct that is a beautiful and romantic quilt. Your quilting does a great job of enhancing the fabric. Do you know what pattern she used?

  2. It love the quilting! Great job Charisma!
Karen, please share the fabric line and pattern. I see lots of HSTs and flying geese. Beautifully done!

  3. Thank you for all the very nice comments on my quilt. The pattern I used is called Memere by Opengate Quilts. The fabric is Paris Flea Market – fabric which I have had for a very long time but some are now available with Moda 3-Sisters Favorites. Charisma, your work is beautiful and I hope this is the first of many quilts that we will complete together. Thank you!
