Scrappy Stars

Mandy made this quilt and brought it over. It’s HUGE! It had to be quite the stash buster!

She has always been a hand quilter and decided to have one quilted by a longarmer. 🙂

I am always flattered when that happens. There are a few camps that are die hard hand quilters and they very much dislike machine quilting. I am in both camps..I like everything so it’s not easy for me to relate to people on one side or the other. 🙂

But it’s always a little nerve wracking as well because if it’s the first just never know if they are going to like your style ect. Mandy happened to love her quilt ( whew! Thank goodness!)   I was so glad becuase honestly I love her quilt too. It took me a long time…..All of those feathers seemed to call to me and take me awhile. 🙂

I am pretty in love with all of the movement created. Aren’t you? continuous curves in the stars…. and wow! So much dimension.  That makes my heart go pitter -pat.

Thanks so much Mandy! It was a pleasure working with you!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
