Scrappy bricks

I had a bunch of sashing and corner stone strips pre made from another quilt…so I just put them together to make these blocks.

  I just randomly put them together with gray background and made a lap quilt.

You may have seen this computer quilt design several times on my quilts. I just really love this design and it’s a design I couldn’t do on my own…so I use it a lot on my own quilts.

I am glad to have used these strips rather than put them in the scrap bin. I am finding myself trying to figure out ways to use some scraps as I go ….so I don’t add to that bin. :)

Do any of you have some tips and tricks to use those scraps?
