186A quilting friend of mine turned my quote packets into a PDF for all of you to be able to download and print if you want to make a Quote Quilt like mine.

764I am happy to report that it did win a first place ribbon in it’s category at the Wenatchee quilt show.

I didn’t attend the show until the last day because it’s an hour drive for me..so I usually only go on the last day so I can pick up my quilts.

I was kind of sneaky….

While I was strolling around looking at quilts I happened to becoming upon this one and there were 3 ladies looking and talking about it…so I just slowly walked up and listened to them chatting about it….for several minutes. They were all very kind and sweet…Thank goodness. It would be terrible to walk up on people talking bad about your quilt…wouldn’t it? Anyway…after awhile I decided to pop up and admit that it was mine. hehe. So they had more questions and I was able to tell them the heart story behind the quilt. They all thanked me for sharing. I just think that is what this quilt is….a conversation piece. There is something in there that relates to everyone. There is some quote in there that will apply to everyone and that is what is beautiful.

In the PDF there is an introduction sheet to let you know that there are several (4-5) quotes in there that are specific to me and my family…but I kept them as “place holders” in the PDF for you to change it out to personalize for you.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I would love to help you. This quilt is so special to me and I just want to inspire everyone to make a version for themselves. I am starting another one for my daughter. It’s going to have a rainbow of colors and wisdom that I want her to have when she leaves for college…or to start whatever life she is going to embark upon. I love to help others along the way so please don’t hesitate to ask if you need help.

I will leave you with a quote:

“True friendship is seen through the heart not the Eyes”

This was so nice of you Charisma. I couldn’t figure out enough quotes for a quilt unless it was out of the Bible. I would really like to make one though. You done such a fine job on this and I envy you .
