Quote quilt

003I am pretty sure this quote might be from Laura Ingalls. ( I could be wrong)

But how true is it?

“I am beginning to learn that is it the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.

The older I get the more I realize that “stiff” just isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. When I look at my life and the things I truly love it’s simple things. It’s people, it’s love it’s experiences. It has nothing to do with money or material possessions.

The real things in my life are usually heart based and pure.

This next one says:

“Your greatness is not what you have it’s what you give.”

How true is that? I think my most precious gift is time. The most precious gift someone can give me is their time as well.    When I think about relationships…what is most important? time that we share.

But greatness has no value if you are not willing to share it…no matter what you define as your greatest gift whether is be money, time, service ect. If you hold on to it…it’s not worth much…but if you share it…it’s worth gold.

So I am really thinking about that as I approach 2016.

I hope you are all doing that as well.
