Hearty Fun

A few summers ago I decided to hand embroider a bunch of hearts. I found various images of hearts on pinterest and the internet and I printed them out. So I spent time embroidering them. But they sat in a pile because I didn’t know what I was going to do with them.

I had a few bright colored FQ’s so I just made 4-patches and decided to just make this baby quilt. There’s no reason these blocks should sit any longer.

It was fun just stitching along ….using bright colored threads and having fun with no rules.

While the quilt was on the longarm I decided to add the different ric-rac on the seams for an added embellishment. That made it even more fun.

In each corner there is a tree:

So cute!

It’s nice to have this pile in a quilt and it can be gifted or used. :_

Many blessings.
