Fabric Fast Update

OK So here it is again this time of week. 🙂

I did get to use some fabric this week. YAY!

I put together this quilt. It’s actually really pretty but I took the pictures in poor lighting. IMG_7777

I had the dresdens already made. I made them for another quilt and only used one. They have been sitting useless and sad..not being used for their full potential. So I grabbed a bunch of subtle backgrounds from my stash. I made some 4 patches and squares and just randomly put them together. I wanted a good mix of things to give it interest. I am thinking of turning the dresdens into flowers when I quilt it.  I will add green stems & leaves to the flowers….and quilt centers in the middle of each one with a high contrast thread.  I pieced the backing and cut binding for it as well. YAY! So total for this quilt is 12 yards.

I also got back a round robin quilt from a local group that I have been a part of at my LQS. It is so pretty! I am excited to get it quilted. I am just waiting on one little part from one of the rounds. It’s going to be an easy one to quilt but I am excited to share it. I cut the backing & binding for it…But I will wait to add it until I get it quilted.

I also finished a Mod Vintage Tablecloth quilt. I added the backing for that. Which was 3.5 yards.   (posted Yesterday)

So for a fabric count so far 32.5 + 12 + 3.5 yards = 48 yards used YTD I think we should start a guessing game? How many yards will it take to create a noticeable dent in Charisma’s stash? Cause I haven’t seen one yet. 🙂
