Deep Sea Bubbles

IMG_7936I traded for this fabric a few years ago. I love all fabric lines by MoMo. She is a designer for Moda and as far as I know she has never shown her face….publicly. She is a Japanese designer and very private. Maybe that has changed….but I have not seen her or met her. I love her lines because she puts hidden pictures and images of animals…ect in her focal pieces…much like Tula Pink…..but a completely different feel of designs.IMG_7937

Alot of times in my personal quilting I like to hide messages, writings and symbols that mean something to me or the recipient/owner. I love personalized items…it’s the romantic side of me…..My Roo is the same way. IMG_7931

But I LOVE every line she has made…..:)IMG_7932 IMG_7933

I only had a few cuts of the line..I think 1 yard cuts….and I have been hoarding them. Shocking…I know. But I wanted an easy project to work on after I had made my double delight back in the fall and this fit the bill. I added a few more fabrics for variety….and so I could preserve a bit of the line I heart so much. I have no idea what I will do with it….but I just want to use it in something else……cause it makes me happy. IMG_7939 IMG_7940

For the background I used a dot from another group of Moda designers I like… Sweet Water…they have never made a line I don’t like. Seriously. How can people not quilt/sew when there is so much yummy fabric to choose from? IMG_7919

So When I was trying to decide how to quilt I looked at the fabrics and there are several repeats of the same fabric  using different colors… I just copied teh quilting design from these prints. I love it!  IMG_7917 IMG_7918

Don’t you just love how that works out?

Here’s the back. IMG_7934 IMG_7935

Another finish! YAHOO! This just makes me happy all the way around. Thanks so much for looking!
