Crab Apples Quilted

So A few weeks ago I made time to quilt my Crab Apples quilt. I made this while I was off in June. It is a Bonnie Hunter quilt. It includes 1.5 inch squares and paper piecing. I didn’t use her same color options…and I added a few extra borders. I had chosen this line of fabrics in my stash…and I wanted to use as much of them as I could…hence the extra borders. It worked out nicely because now the quilt is a good full size quilt.

I originally pinned it on my frame thinking I would just put an all over design on the quilt. It’s really busy & has a lot going on….so I didn’t want to invest a bunch of time into it for that reason. But then I decided to just go ahead with a custom quilt. In the end….I don’t know…I am thinking an all over would have been fine….But I really love the back. 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
