This is a quilt from last year’s Basic Grey Christmas line. I always love their fabrics….I seriously do. I can’t think of a line that I haven’t loved from them. I loved their papers when I scrapbooked more regularly. Their fabrics are no different.
But this line…the colors were so different….and all had gray overtones ….***LOVE*** and the minty green color…seriously ***LOVE***
I had a difficult time choosing a favorite in the bunch for backing….but I did choose one of my faves……I just couldn’t resist.
The pattern was made using a few later cakes & Kona white back ground.
My Friend Donna pieced this for me…she always does a beautiful job. She likes piecing so much that we will trade…piecing for quilting. she is usually really fast too. One time we were at a retreat and there was a contest. We were all in a race to finish a block….there was a team competing against her (alone) she was oblivious to this…and she still beat a whole team of people….and her block was exact. Yes…that’s my super star friend! LOL
I quilted this with holly and ribbons. It’s difficult to see in the pictures….bad lighting. But it’s at Beth the Binder’s. YAY! Another finish!
I hope you all are thinking of getting your Christmas projects finished ..this is the right time. 🙂
have a great day!
