Cabin in the Woods

I have been quilting for Laurie for a few years now….and she recently moved to a cabin in the woods and created a few wall hangings that she wanted to hang in her new home.

So this first one is a log cabin quilt….

056She wanted all natural-organic type of quilting. So I quilted a big sun in the center block and a pine tree in the bottom center block. I quilted ferns and leaves and pebbles in the other areas of the quilt to bring all the natural elements together.

057See the sun?

Here’s the tree:

Here’s another view of the quilt:

The back is amazing! {If I do say so myself}

The next quilt is a stack & whack.

024I quilted a lot of continuous curves…but every now and again I would change the design within the blocks to give it some interest.

Thanks Laurie! I love all of your different projects!

always fun!

it’s halfway through our week. I hope you are all getting through and enjoying your week!

Many blessings
