My friend Donna learned how to quit just a few short years ago and she was in her 70’s. I love that about her…she is always trying new things and figuring out life…no matter how old she is. She always has a smile and a kind word for everyone . she is an inspiration to me and I love her dearly.
She brought this quilt to me to quilt for her granddaughter. What is funny is that Donna’s least favorite color is blue…but all the of the quilts she makes for her kids and grandkids are blue because they all love blue. 🙂 Isn’t that the way it goes?
I quilted swirls, loops, continuous curves and wavy cross hatching in the blocks to keep it simple and modern.
Thanks Donna! I love your work!
Blessings to all of you today! I hope you all have a great weekend!
